PRESS RELEASE
Denver, CO
February 10, 2003
Morey Evans Announces Ownership in Worldwide Partners, Inc.
Morey Evans Advertising, Denver, announced today its decision to become a shareholder in
Worldwide Partners, Inc., the world's largest network of owner-operated marketing
communications firms.
"Colorado is becoming an international business hub, and our selection of a Worldwide
Partners agency for this market was very important," said Patricia Fiske, President/CEO of
Worldwide Partners. "As we talked with Glenn Morey and Tom Evans, it was clear that Morey
Evans is highly entrepreneurial and shares our vision of marketing and communications, a
vision that respects consumers and the cultures in which they live."
Morey said the agency's decision to become a shareholder in the agency network was based
on its ability to extend the firm's reach into new markets in the United States and abroad, and
said the knowledge resources available through Worldwide Partners will add value to his
clients' businesses. "We've already witnessed the power of sharing effective ideas by
exchanging expertise across the spectrum of advertising disciplines."
Worldwide Partners agencies have since 1938 served roles as one another's branch offices,
sharing specific market experience and assisting other network agencies in developing
stronger and more effective strategies. Creative Director Tom Evans said he believes the
network will help provide the kind of research and category expertise required for superior
creative work. "We've been a shareholder for two months and already we've seen the power of
the organization to help us utilize best practices."
Bev Cain, Morey Evans' Chief Financial Officer, said the system of partnerships and its
financial, legal, and other business consulting services would also enhance marketing services
for their clients. "The partnership provides a refreshing opportunity to look into our own
business and evaluate for improvement," Cain said "We see the operational benefits from
sharing best practices with other agencies as an investment that saves our clients money
down the road."
The owner-operated agency began operations in 1989 under the direction of Glenn Morey,
who has created campaigns for Pizza Hut, American Express, Phillips Electronics, AT&T
Broadband and Cellular One along with regional campaigns during his 20-year advertising
career. Tom Evans brings 20 years of work complementing the agency with some of the most
memorable campaigns created for Toro Lawnmowers, US West, Winnebago Motor Homes and
Havoline Motor Oil.
