Morey Evans Advertising Adds Elastic Lab to Group of Specialty Agencies

Morey Evans announced today the addition of Elastic Lab, a digital video content provider, to its group of agencies that provide both non-traditional and traditional agency services.

Elastic Lab develops and applies new ways to create, manage and distribute short and long-form video for the long-tail content environment. At the core of Elastic Lab operations is a national, multi-tier video production resource network, comprised of independent filmmakers, commercial video production houses and freelancers, film students, and even amateur video enthusiasts. Elastic Lab develops commercial and entertainment projects, distributing shooting and creation assignments for those projects throughout the network. Compensation for the network's filmmakers varies from project to project, and depends on the complexity of the assignment and experience level of the contributor. Current projects include work for leading automotive manufacturers, packaged goods, food and beverage companies, media companies, and Internet publishers.

"As more advertisers shift their budgets from traditional to non-traditional media, there is a significant opportunity for agencies like ours to gain significant market share," said Glenn Morey, President of Morey Evans. Since the beginning of summer, the group has added a half dozen new hires with expertise in digital video and web content, interactive development and project management, and digital public relations, as the agency beefs up its capability and capacity in the most leading-edge and sought-out strategies for marketing today.
